Approval Pathways
The south-eastern coastal area offers a mix of established residential zones and growing infill opportunities. The NSW Low and Mid-Rise Housing reform (LMR) has opened new dual occupancy pathways across many R2 zoned suburbs. Complying Development (CDC) can fast-track compliant single-dwelling projects. For sites near the coast with specific council controls, flooding considerations or non-standard lot configurations, a full Development Application (DA) is the appropriate pathway. We assess which route delivers the best outcome for your specific land.
